While obtaining my graduate degree, I completed a class that focused on creating PR campaigns. For a group project, we were assigned a real company and tasked with creating a sample publicity campaign for that company. My group was assigned Next Glass, a startup company that created an app which helped users find their “perfect drink” by providing craft beer and wine recommendations based on a user’s preferences and other beer/wine they like.
As part of my group’s campaign, I created a media kit for Next Glass – an essential tool for companies to communicate who they are and what they do to press in one place.
The media kit I created for Next Glass incorporated elements from the website and app while including important information – what Next Glass is, who the spokespeople are for Next Glass, why the app is relevant, how it works, and an event we created to generate buzz about Next Glass.
